Received a Large Donation of Mandarins

Poste date: Tuesday, January 16, 2024

We are grateful to a mandarin farmer in Yugawara who generously donated a substantial quantity of mandarins.

Despite being considered non-standard and unsuitable for regular market distribution, we received them free of charge. Upon sampling, we found these mandarins to be delicious and almost indistinguishable from those available for sale.

We appreciate the ability to receive donations of non-standard items, and as these are seasonal fruits, we believe they will bring joy to those in need.

We have distributed them to homeless support organizations, food banks assisting individuals in need, and similar charitable entities. These mandarins were grown with great care, and we aim to deliver them effectively to those who can benefit from them.

"Thank you for the delicious mandarins today. Each person received four, as one of the students calculated for everyone. Everyone was delighted to take them home, and no one said they didn't want them. Some couldn't wait and started eating right away."
