September-October Food Support: Delivered Food to Needy Families in Minato-ku

Post date: Tuesday, December 3, 2024

In September and October, we delivered food to families in need, homeless support organizations, refugee support groups, and organizations assisting people living on the streets in Minato-ku.

We received rice, ready-made meals, canned goods, snacks, and other donations from individuals in Minato Ward, as well as from companies such as Pal System and Paidy, who generously donated rice and disaster preparedness supplies.

Thanks to the support and cooperation of everyone involved, we were able to distribute a large quantity of food. We are deeply grateful for your contributions.

*Our thanks for your support are posted on our social media (FacebookTwitterInstagram).

If you have any surplus food, we kindly ask for your donations.

Needy Families in Minato City - 50 Households

Between September and October, we delivered food to 50 households in Minato Ward through the Takagawa Food Pantry. The donations included rice, ready-made meals, nutritional supplements, freeze-dried rice, canned goods, and snacks, which we carefully sorted and distributed by household. During this period, many families were unable to have sufficient meals due to the lack of school lunches, and there was a growing need for more food.

In October, instead of using the Takagawa Food Pantry, we directly distributed food at our PLAZA HOMES office. Many of the recipients were families with children, and we received numerous grateful comments such as, "This is a great help." We were very happy to see their appreciation.

Homeless Support Organizations

We delivered a large quantity of food to the organization Grama Seva Japan, which provides homeless support at Yoyogi Park. O also participated as volunteers, distributing disaster preparedness biscuits, freeze-dried rice, snacks, and other items.

General Incorporated Association Nanairo

Nanairo is an organization that supports the relocation of homeless individuals to regular housing.

We delivered emergency biscuits, ready-made meals, snacks, disaster preparedness food, and other items.
