Food Support November-December: Delivered Food to Needy Families in Minato-ku

In November and December, we delivered food to families in need, homeless support organizations, refugee support groups, and organizations assisting people living on the streets in Minato-ku.

We received donations of rice, ready-made meals, canned goods, snacks, and more from the people of Minato Ward. Once again, thanks to your generous support and cooperation, we were able to distribute a large quantity of food. We sincerely appreciate your kindness.

Needy Families in Minato City - 50 Households

Through the Takanawa Food Pantry, we delivered rice, ready-made meals, nutritional supplements, canned goods, snacks, and more to 50 households in Minato Ward. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to distribute a large quantity of food.

Homeless Support Organizations

We delivered a large quantity of food to Grama Seva Japan, an organization supporting the homeless in Yoyogi Park.

Refugee Empowerment Network (REN)

We delivered vegetable juice, snacks, canned goods, and more to the refugee support organization REN, and they were very pleased to receive them.

General Incorporated Association Nanairo

Nanairo supports the transition of homeless individuals into permanent housing. We delivered ready-made meals, rice, and other food items.

Minato Kodomo Shokudo

We delivered powdered milk, ready-made meals, and other food items to Minato Kodomo Shokudo.

  • Winter Break Food Support

    At Food Bank Azabu, we aimed to ensure that families with children could welcome the winter break with peace of mind and enjoy a festive Christmas. Through Takanawa Food Pantry, we delivered food and snacks to approximately 30 households with children.
  • Food Support March-April: Delivered Food to Needy Families in Minato-ku

    In March and April, we delivered food to families in need, homeless support organizations, refugee support groups, and organizations assisting people living on the streets in Minato-ku.
  • Delivered Food to 40 Financially Struggling Households in Minato-ku

    This month, we were able to deliver food to needy households in Minato Ward through the Tanakanawa Food Pantry once again. While previously, many of the food items came from our employees, it is heartening to note that donations are gradually increasing, thanks to individuals, including foreigners who found us through our website and local residents who brought food after seeing our storefront sign. We express our gratitude to those who contributed food items. Thank you very much for your generosity.
  • Food Drive by Plaza Homes' Employees

    Plaza Homes, Ltd. held an in-house food drive and donated 45.95 kg of food to Food Bank Meguro, a Tokyo-based support organization for the needy. A food drive is an activity in which people bring surplus food from their homes, workplaces, schools, etc., and collectively donate it to welfare facilities, children's cafeterias, and those in need.
  • Volunteer Participation at Food Bank Meguro’s Free Food Distribution

    On July 23 (Sun.), 10 Plaza Homes employees volunteered to participate in a free food distribution event organized by Food Bank Meguro.
