This property is only a 3-minute walk from Gokokuji Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line. The Myogadani Station (Metro Marunouchi Line) and Zoshigaya Station (Metro Fukutoshin Line) are also within walking distance. From Gokokuji Station you can take a 4 min. train directly to Ikebukuro Station or a 5 min ride to Iidabashi Station. Both the Ikebukuro Station and Iidabashi Station will enable you to easily access other major areas throughout Central Tokyo and its suburbs.
Upon exiting Gokokuji Station and making your way up to street level, you will find a variety of convenience stores and restaurants along Otowa Dori, along with a supermarket nearby making your daily shopping and dining convenient.
Bloom Terrace Mejirodai is located in quiet hilly residential area with lots of parks and greenery. Historically, the area was the location of many high-class samurai’s residences. Many of these residences later became the sites for schools and other related facilities making the area one of Tokyo’s major educational districts. You can see the remnants of these residences in the various Japanese gardens throughout the neighborhood that have been preserved to this day such as the Higo Hosokawa Garden and the Chinzanso Garden.
When you visit the Higo Hosokawa Garden and Chinzanso Garden, after going down the hill you will find Edogawa Park nearby spread out along the Kanda River. Edogawa Park is famous for cherry blossom viewing among the surrounding area as well as a walking path in the park that is also ideal for weekend walks. On the way back along Otowa-dori you can look forward to stopping by and enjoying some freshly baked bread at Sekiguchi France Bread.
